The Breastvest goes on under any top and when you breastfeed it stops your postnatal tummy being exposed, making you feel more comfortable and warmer. The Breastvest is shaped to sit comfortably just under your nursing bra and is held in place by shoulder straps, specially designed not to interfere with your bra straps.
The Breastbest was invented by mother-of-one Sam Telfer during her maternity leaves in 2007. Sam says "What I was looking for was a vest, without the breast-bit. The straps held it in place, and the vest – which needed to be a long one - covered my postnatal tummy. It meant I could wear normal tops, and just pull them up when I wanted to feed... and it didn't interfere with my nursing bra."
The Breastvest is made from 95% viscose and 5% elastane and is machine washable. It is available in white (this product) and also in black.
